iDEAL Semiconductors announce that the first product in the 200V SuperQ™ MOSFET family has entered the mass production stage, with four other 200V devices now available.
SuperQ is the first major advancement in silicon MOSFET technology in more than 25 years, breaking through long-standing switching and transmission restrictions. It achieves a stunning improvement in performance and efficiency while retaining the core advantages of silicon: solidity, high production manufacturing capabilities, and reliable performance at 175°C.
The first 200V MOSFET into volume is the 25 mΩ, TO╴220 package iS20M028S1P. iDEAL also offers ultra-low resistance TOLL and D²PAK-7L products, with RDS (on) only 5.5 mΩ, setting a new performance base, with resistance 1.2 times lower than the current market leader and 1.7 times lower than the next best competitors. "To expand SuperQ to 200V, we have proven that the continuous innovation of silicon is not over yet, and these results show that we can provide the lowest resistance and excellent switching performance while maintaining silicon's manufacturing capabilities, reliability and cost. This is a major milestone for our company and customers who want to promote efficiency improvements."
The target applications of the200V SuperQ series include motor drives, LED lighting, battery protection, AI servers, isolated DC/DC power modules, USB╴PD chargers and solar inverters. As devices enter the production stage and provide industry-leading products, iDEAL is accelerating cooperation with customers in the high-growth power market.
