According to OPTA statistics, Chelsea is the only team that does not allow players over the age of 30 to play in the Champions League this season. Only two English teams have not used players over the age of 30 for at least three games, namely Liverpool in the 2002-03 season and Tottenham in the 2016-17 season. Both teams played six games.
