Manchester City officially announced that the 39-year-old goalkeeper Carson left the team after his contract expired. Carson joined Manchester City in 2019 and only made two appearances in 6 years, but he won 12 championships in various events with the team.

Scott Carson will leave Manchester City after his contract expires this summer.

The 39-year-old goalkeeper has been playing for the club since 2019 and is a highly valued member of the goalkeeper team.

He initially joined on loan and then completed a free transfer in the summer of 2021.

The experienced goalkeeper made his first appearance for Manchester City in May 2021 against Newcastle United, and his second appearance was in the 2021/22 Champions League quarter-16 match against Portugal Sports.

Carson made his first adult team debut for Leeds United in January 2004 and has so far spent an incredible 21 years in the professional arena.

While at Manchester City, Carson was praised by goalkeeper coach Xavi Mansisdo and teammates Ederson and Ortega for his professional attitude and positive influence.

His team has won 12 major honors over the past six seasons, a period of success in Guardiola's team's history.
