Have you noticed that there are fewer and fewer stray dogs in winter? Do you think they have found homes? wrong! In fact, the truth is that many stray dogs freeze to death in winter. The stray dogs have no clothes, heating or air conditioning, and some only have frozen bodies. Generally speaking, there are two reasons why stray dogs disappear in winter:
1. Stray dogs have weak cold resistance.
2. Stray dogs lack food in winter.
When we find a stray dog, we can take it home or send it to a pet rescue center. However, you must remember that if you keep a stray dog, you must take it to be vaccinated and dewormed.

If we don’t have the conditions to raise stray dogs or there is no pet rescue station nearby, we can also place a cardboard box in the place where stray dogs often hang out in winter, and put cotton wool in the cardboard box to help keep warm. We can usually feed stray dogs some food with higher protein content, so that they can accumulate fat and help poor stray dogs survive the cold winter.

I believe that with your kind help, stray dogs will survive the cold winter.
