According to the British media "The Guardian", 17-year-old Manchester United right back James Ofori has been selected for the Australian national team.

James Ofori is 17 years old and plays as a right back. He grew up in Perth, Australia. He performed well with Perth Glory in a friendly match against West Ham two years ago. After that, he moved to the UK with his family and attracted the interest of many clubs. He officially signed with Manchester United last summer.

Ofori once represented the Scotland U19 team. He was selected for the Australian U20 team's World Youth Championship roster last month and played in 2 games. After returning to Manchester United, Ofori was invited to train with the Manchester United first team three times, which raised his profile and aroused strong interest from fans.
