According to The Atheltic, the Wolves did not consider any offer to Larson and the players did not actively facilitate the transfer.

TA's report pointed out that Newcastle had previously made a offer of 50 million pounds without any clauses for Larson, but was rejected by the Wolves, and then their offer of 55 million pounds was rejected again. The Wolves' position remains that given Larson's importance to the club and the lack of time left in the transfer window, they will reject any offer for him this summer. Larson hopes to join Newcastle, but he has not actively facilitated the transfer out of respect for the Wolves.

Newcar believes that Larson is Wilson's replacement, who leaves the team after his contract expires this summer. They do not think that Larson is Isaac's replacement, and Isaac hopes to leave this summer.

Larson, 25, was loaned to Wolves from Celta last year and officially joined in July this year for 27 million euros. He has made 41 appearances for Wolves in various competitions, contributing 16 goals and 5 assists.

Newcastle has been looking for a striker this summer, but several target players have already transferred, with Ekitic joining Liverpool, Sheshko joining Manchester United, and Pedro and Drapp joining Chelsea.
