According to official news from West Ham, the team's forward Antonio will not stay in the team.

In December last year, Antonio's Ferrari hit a tree, causing his calf to be severely fractured and was rushed to the hospital by a helicopter for surgery. In June this year, Antonio returned to the arena and made his debut in three group matches in Jamaica.

35-year-old Antonio rejected the team's low-paying short-term contract after the car accident. His contract with West Ham United expired on June 30, but West Ham United said it will continue to support Antonio's recovery.

Today, the Hammer Gang issued a statement saying: "West Ham United officially confirmed that after the contract expires at the end of last season, Michelle Antonio will no longer renew his contract with the club as a first-team player."

Antonio joined West Ham in 2015. During his 10 years of playing for the team, he has made a total of 323 appearances and contributed 83 goals and 42 assists.
