4. It is best to use neutral detergents
Since the poultry down in the down jacket is protein fiber, if soap or ordinary washing powder is used, they are highly alkaline, which will make the down jacket lose its softness, elasticity and luster, become dry, hard and aging, shortening the service life of the down jacket. The harm of neutral detergents to clothing and down is the most accurate. If you must use alkaline detergent, when removing it, you can add two small spoons of vinegar to warm water after rinsing it twice, soak the down jacket for a while and then rinse it. The vinegar can neutralize alkaline detergent.
5. Do not wrinkle the down jacket after washing, do not wrinkle it. The moisture should be squeezed out, then spread it flat or hung it to dry. Do not expose it to the sun or iron it to avoid burning the clothes. After drying, you can gently pat it to restore the down jacket to fluffy and soft.
